The ArtKlub Story
ArtKlub began as a small experiment—intimate, one-off art classes designed to connect people through creative expression. These sessions quickly grew into something bigger: a thriving community of artists who came together not just to learn, but to share, explore, and create.
Over the past four years, ArtKlub has expanded its offerings to include structured 8-week flagship courses, a membership and mentorship program, and even online courses that deliver the tools for creativity right to your doorstep.
Through it all, our mission has stayed the same: to provide a nurturing space where grownups can reconnect with their creativity, explore new mediums, and develop their artistic voice.

Meet Marti Lund—your teacher and the founder of ArtKlub.
1. Marti Lund is a painter, muralist, and creative educator based in Cape Town, SA. His art practice oscillates between the studio, where he creates figurative oil paintings, and the urban sprawl, where he paints murals on walls.
“Marti’s mission is to create a hub for artists to expand their practice and embrace their creativity.”
2. Passionate about painting in all its forms, Marti has painted murals and completed residencies in Canada, Mexico, Indonesia, and Spain. Upon returning to Cape Town, he taught at three high schools before founding ArtKlub, inspired by a desire to create a safe, empowering community for artists.
3. Today, Marti balances his time between teaching, mentoring, and expanding ArtKlub’s reach through online content. His vision blends classical techniques with playful, uplifting tuition to inspire and empower artists everywhere.
